Length Range: 12-42 µm
Width Range: 3-4 µm
Striae in 10 µm: 36-38
Valves are lanceolate with sides parallel and tapering rapidly at the poles, terminating with subcapitate apices. Fibulae are distinct, with a distinct central nodule and number 11-13 in 10 µm. Striae barely visible in LM.
